Anamor Send a request

For hardware startups

From dev-kit prototype to manufacturing drawings.

Tell us which boards, battery and connectors go inside. We send back the housing as 3D files, drawings and a parts list, checked against the rules of the process that will make it.

Frequently asked questions

We only have a dev-kit prototype. Is that enough?

Yes. Send the parts list and photos; we take sizes from the parts' datasheets and ask about the rest.

Can you design for moulding before we have the volume?

Yes. We design to the moulding rules and print the first units, so the prototype already follows them.

Can you check our CAD before we order tooling?

Yes. The rules run on your STEP files and you get the report with a list of fixes.

What do I need to send?

A description in plain words: what the product does and where it is used. Add the parts that go inside, with links, and any sketches, photos or drawings you have.

Can you check a design we already have?

Yes. We run the fit, clearance, access and process rules on your STEP files and send the report with a list of fixes. No redesign unless you ask for one.

Can you work from old drawings, scans or parts?

Yes. We model from a 2D drawing, turn a scan or STL into editable CAD, or rebuild an old part. It passes when it matches the source within the stated tolerance.

Which file formats and drawing standards do you use?

STEP and IGES, which open in SolidWorks, Creo, NX, Inventor and Fusion; drawings as PDF and DXF. US projects get ANSI sheets with inches alongside millimetres; others get ISO sheets.

Which processes do you design for?

Injection moulding, 3D printing, CNC machining, sheet metal and extrusion. Each part is checked against the rules of the process that will make it.

How is a project priced?

Every project is quoted after we read the request. The questions and the quote are free.

Who reviews the work?

An engineer reviews every package before it reaches you. A change to what you approved is confirmed by a person.

What is the printed prototype for?

To check fit with your real boards and parts before tooling. For sheet-metal and extruded designs it is a printed stand-in of the same shape.

Can we use the tool ourselves?

Not yet. Join the waitlist for early access; until then we run it for you.

Send the request in your own words.

We reply with what we understood, the questions that change the design, and a quote.
